What was once a pass time for kids alone has evolved into an adult addiction as well!

Actually, it might not be quite that drastic yet, but it is very true that more and more adults are finding out how entertaining and relaxing playing video games can be. There are more games than ever that are geared towards older people. Challenging puzzle games and word games for the bookworm types. There are plenty of sports games with such real life action that dads might even miss a real game or two on television to play his own video game version.

Adults have finally realized what kids have known all along. They have discovered how satisfying it can be to reach the end of a game that was particularly difficult. Once you have found a video game that you really love to play, when it is over, it makes you thirsty to find another game that is just as much fun! It is not really an addiction at that point, but it could be if you aren’t careful. Most people have just found that it is a new way to enjoy some entertainment and relax a little too.

Adults have also discovered the fun of the hand held video game consoles. It might have annoyed them before when their kids wanted to take these gadgets with them everywhere they went, but once they have played one, they find that there are lots of opportunities to play them without really interrupting their day. If you are waiting at the doctors office or at the auto repair shop, having a hand held game console is a great way to pass the time instead of reading all of those outdated magazines!

Let you kids see you having fun playing some video games for a change and it will just be one more thing that you have in common with them. Kids love for parents to join in any activity they are interested in and helps create new bonds believe it or not. Anything that you can do you spend more time with them and connect with them with things that make them happy and you as well, has to be good thing.
